AhRam)Campaign Promotion in Festivals

Nexus 2011 & NSS Festival with Dil Se Campaign

From 3rd to 5th there had been Nexus 2011 going on in Sri Venkateswara College and the dil se campaign was invited to place in social service stole for promotion.  Like we informed in advance, dil se team went for meeting college students and talking about the campaign and children’s stories.

Social Service Sector among stoles

Even though we were placed among attracting stoles like accessory shops and food shops, we could meet many passionate students who are interested in helping children. Many of them actually complete the volunteering forms and many people also left their names and contact numbers for further information.

They are our neighbors in social service sector, Blood Donation Team and Epiphany(a student group that made interesting exhibition of recycling products).

And the first offline promotion team of the dil se campaign!!! :)

Soon after the Nexus, with the invitation of nikhil sehra, one of our volunteers Dil Se campaign participated in UTSAV in Hansraj College - an annual festival of NSS(National Service Scheme) we also had a chance to step closer to young college students who might be our children’s friends and families.  It was on 7th March in North campus of Delhi Universities.

Of course, it was wonderful to meet new family from Hansraj college and other young passionate students who wanted to know more dil se campaign and children.

The students of Hansraj NSS group have been teaching children from nearby communities every day after they finish their classes. They mainly teach school subjects so that the children could follow up their school education. On the day, children had drawing competition and freely danced with the students and experienced kite flying. It was so good to see that young people are involving in those activities trying to contribute to their own neighborhood children and societies.

Someone told me that students are supposed to have fun in their college years. I agree with it unless they enjoy the fun in sound ways. The students I met in the NSS festival were enjoying their college lives creating beautiful harmonies and contagious fun to others. That was great fun for me as well. :)

By the way! Don’t forget to contact us (Anubhav, volunteer coordinator) if you are interested in offline and online campaign promotion of the dilse campaign. :)
